Our Story

We met at Central Washington University (CWU) in January of 2017 in the Student Union Recreation Center (SURC). It was around lunch time. Amanda had just come back from her chemistry class, and Leni was coming back from a Brother 2 Brother meeting wearing a suit and tie. We were introduced by a mutual friend, and we hit it off immediately. After a few dates, Leni asked Amanda out on Valentines Day, February 14th, 2017.

From then on, we did everything together. We both participated in CWU's Polynesian Club for 3 years together. We danced on stage at Poly Fest and participated in many club activities together.

Leni graduated from CWU in June of 2019 with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. He then went on to a PhD program for Cybersecurity at Oregon State University.

Amanda graduated from CWU in March of 2021 with a Bachelors of Art in Psychology. She then went into industry where she is currently using her degree as a Behavioral Technician for the Federal Way School District.
